A gothic headpiece as sombre and melancholic as it is playful and sweet
This playful gothic headpiece by Pyon Pyon looks like the little hat of a Victorian doll. Like all the other styles of this label by Punk Rave, the design is playful in a darkly romantic Lolita look. Neither a real hat nor a fascinator, this headpiece for the girly gothic look is somewhere between a "frilly pillbox" and a fanciful fascinator. The small flat hat has a lace and pleated ruffle all around, which visually imitates a brim. The heavily stiffened tulle of the actual hat is delicately embroidered and not strictly symmetrically rounded. The highlight of the Dark Lolita headdress is the little black teddy bear attached to the brim for decoration. Under the cute little black bear with a ruff, a short veil made of several layers of tulle and wide lace ribbons falls down to the shoulders of the wearer. As befits a doll-like look, there are also two fluffy plush pom-poms on fine satin ribbons in the flounce layers of the veil. Two metal hair clips are attached to the underside of the hat so that the delicate little hat can be securely pinned into hairstyles or onto braids.
