The fairytale corsage belt is much more than "just" a belt but still narrower than an underbust corsage. The pointed curve at the upper hem of the waspie emphasises the female waist and bust in a similar way to an underbust corset. The corsage, made of firm velvet, is fitted with four plastic corset bones at the front and back to prevent it from "slipping together" at the waist. At the front, the thick velvet is covered with net lace with a pattern of tendrils and leaves. A particularly enchanting detail is the decorative lacing with a black velvet ribbon instead of a planchette (corset clasp) at the front. In the back, the Waspie can be laced to size over a back lacing flap. So that the entire lacing in the back does not always have to be removed for putting on and taking off, a zip is incorporated on the right side. For optimal wearing comfort and a perfect fit, the romantic gothic waspie is fully lined.

The back of the black-red version is entirely in the dark red shade (without black lace covering).
