The long, transparent Gothic skirt “Shadows & Laces” by Punk Rave is a sensual homage to Victorian elegance – with exactly the dark refinement you would expect from us. This ankle- to floor-length godet skirt fits close from the waist over the hips to the thighs before flowing into a wide, graceful line. The silhouette evokes a mysterious mermaid who has decided to wear nothing but black.
Fine mesh forms the transparent base, while lace godet inserts running from the hem up to the knees create movement and romantic drama. The section around the abdomen, hips and back is particularly artful: densely laced velvet ribbons run through delicate lace trims, forming a gently pointed contour at both front and back. The lacing is not permanently fixed to the mesh but lies decoratively on top – creating subtle opacity and shaping a flattering silhouette without sacrificing transparency.
At the sides, narrow mesh panels and softly draped waterfall inserts in elastic jersey add further accents. The elasticated waistband ensures a comfortable fit and effortless wear.

The skirt itself is quite elastic and adapts well to the figure; however, the elasticated waistband is comparatively firm and snug.
