This extraordinary chain harness by Punk Rave feels like a relic from an ancient ritual – mysterious, intricate and of haunting beauty. A braided, waxed black cord encircles the neck and runs down between the breasts to the upper abdomen. Worked into the cord are tiny bone vertebrae in gunmetal-toned metal – macabre little treasures that breathe life (or rather, unlife) into the dark design. At the décolletage sits a large skull, entwined by a finely detailed serpent. From there, softly cascading antique-silver chains drape around the waist and flow across the back – creating a captivating interplay of movement, metallic sheen and symbolism.
