This layer is made of French lace and lavishly gathered at the hem and decorated with Venetian lace and delicate satin roses. Underneath is another layer of French lace with a voluminous flounce of organza and Venetian lace. The dramatic volume is provided by the third layer of stiff tulle lined with softly flowing satin for maximum comfort. But also the top cut in the shape of a waist-accentuating bodice excellently underlines the dark exclusivity of the gothic dress. The V-shaped neckline is trimmed with a wide lace border that continues across the straps to the back. The V-shaped middle part of the bodice is made of organza and trimmed with narrow velvet ribbons running diagonally across each other. This creates the look of delicate lacing below the breast. At the side, elastic velvet inserts not only provide a favourable accentuation of the waist, but also ensure freedom of movement. At the back the dress can be closed with a concealed zipper.
