A gothic coat straight out of a storybook
Even black souls who look forward to the dark season want to enjoy the magic of darkness wrapped up cosily and warmly. The darkly romantic Dark In Love coat Magic Tales conjures up just the right covering onto the shoulders - and in this case also the head - for the mystical, gloomy children of the night. The fantastically feminine A-line cut of the coat is reminiscent of a cloche coat. At the back, the wide-swinging coat reaches over the wearer's calves, while at the front it reaches around the knees. Like an ethereal apparition from the shadows, the wonderfully soft coat gives a fairytale gothic look with Victorian-noble styling potential. Absolute eye-catchers are the cleverly designed layered sleeves and the huge, detachable hood. The narrow sleeves are made in two layers from the elbow onwards. The inner layer is made of thinner, slightly elastic material in a shiny crinkled look and the outer layer, like the rest of the coat, is made of a soft, thick fleece. The outer sleeve layer falls around the forearm like a wide slitted flounce and is also visually given a good dose of cosiness by the edging of black fake fur. The shiny material used for the inner sleeve in a crinkled look is also found on the lapel collar, which comes into its own when the large double-layered hood made of fleece and trimmed with fake fur and a lightly glittering tulle ruffle is unbuttoned. This way, the look of the coat can also be changed significantly by buttoning or unbuttoning the hood, and can be transformed from mystically gloomy to Victorian elegance in an instant. The waist is accentuated by dividing seams running all around, similar to a wide belt. From there, the wide, pleated cloak opens up. Large lace-covered buttons are attached at the front to close the coat.
Worn over a wide, floor-length Victorian dress or skirt, the cloche shape of the Magic Tales hi-lo coat creates a special visual effect. But also worn over skin-tight leggings for an autumnal gothic look, the coat makes for fabulous looks. The cut of the coat, which is shorter at the front than at the back, goes perfectly with many different dresses, skirts and trousers to be worn underneath.
