Showing backbone – quite literally

This harness takes the idea of “backbone” rather seriously – and then pushes it a step further. At the front, things begin almost innocently with a simple collar, connected to the belt by a vertical faux leather strap. But even here, two substantial black chains hint that things are about to get more interesting.

Because at the back, the real spectacle unfolds: a flexible black “spine” running from the nape of the neck all the way down to the buttocks. Segment by segment, it resembles a dark skeletal structure, fully articulated and finished with a small, fin-like tip. Thanks to cleverly designed shoulder straps – worn like a rucksack – the weight is evenly distributed and does not rest on the neck. Two side-mounted tech-style fastenings, along with adjustable straps and press studs, ensure a secure and tailored fit. An elastic band stabilises the spine, allowing movement without uncontrolled swinging.

Tip: It’s worth taking a little time when putting it on for the first time, as the harness offers multiple adjustment options to suit your body perfectly. The elastic band that stabilises the spine at waist level can be adjusted in length much like a bra strap. Using this band also has a practical bonus: it helps keep the central strap at the front from lifting away from the body during movement.
