Joey, the founder of Punk Rave, grew up in modest circumstances in China. Already in her youth she was inspired by the dream of bringing her darkly colourful imagination to life through extraordinary fashion. In 2006 she founded the label Punk Rave, designed her first Punk Rave dress, and began exporting her Gothic-fashion looks to Europe. Since then the brand has become a familiar and established part of the dark scene.
