The ultra-short brocade mini skirt “Barely Proper” by Pentagramme takes the word mini very literally. The cut is so brief that the skirt covers little more than the absolute essentials – cheeky, uncompromising and deliberately provocative.
The slightly asymmetric cut of the upper skirt section at the front and back, together with the attached waistband, can be worn in different ways: high on the waist for a defined silhouette or slightly lower on the hips, depending on your preferred fit and chosen size. It is made from deep black brocade with tone-on-tone ornamental detailing that gives the skirt an elegant, slightly Victorian note. A side zip ensures easy dressing and a secure fit.
Below that begins the true star of the design: the dramatically flared skirt section. The material is based on fine black tulle and is densely covered with small, rounded, flower-like elements. This creates a lively 3D texture that shimmers with a soft satin-matt sheen depending on movement and light. From a distance, the surface almost looks as if it has been sprinkled with black confetti – playful, unusual and definitely not for dull evenings.
For additional comfort, an elasticated, even shorter underskirt is integrated.
